Monday 11th December 2017

With the nights drawing in as winter is officially upon us, it is time for the Christmas parties to begin! Last night, Wiseman’s Bridge Rowing Club held their annual Christmas party in the Imperial Hotel in Tenby. Incorporated into the evening were the annual rowing awards which were won by Gabi, Nikki, Lowri, Conor, Nick and Simon. A big well done to all of you. A fantastic evening was had by all with lots of food, drink and dancing. Huge thanks go to Mel and Nina for organising - once again, you did a brilliant job!
On Thursday 21st, we have the Carols on the Decking in Saundersfoot harbour in aid of bone cancer research. After the various performances, such as the the Butchers Shop Quartet, the Quaynotes Choir and Wiseman’s Bridge Rowing Club, the clubhouse will be open to all for hot drinks, mince pies and a beer. Come up and join us!
With no sailing until April, I’m going to take a well earned break and my reports are going to be once a month until sailing resumes. By then, the New Year’s Day Swim will have happened in Saundersfoot, where SSC and WBRC are proud to be raising money for the first responders. Hope to see you there!
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
