Darts and skittles

Friday 29th January 2016

There was a suggestion that all the sailing club had to do to retain the dart's trophy was to just turn up, well as it turned out it may have been less embarressing if we had not turned up at all as it did look as though the Wiseman rowers were playing like Phil the power Taylor and the Craft cockney all rolled into one. Well done on a great win and almost a whitewash except for some skillful darts by the loveboat crew Julia but there will be a rematch.

A big thankyou to both Nina Mammatt and Andrew Richards for organising a fab night with some great free food that went down a treat during the evening so thanks to Andy and Jo for sorting that.

There were some trial beers on offer behind the bar from Tenby brewery and it looks like the "Barefoot Blonde" will be making it's way behind the bar on a few more occasions due to it being voted top beer for the night.
Andy Williams from the harbour won the overall skittles and went home with a coveted trophy to put on the mantle piece, Lloyd won the junior skittles and of course Wisemans won the darts.

There was a rumour that the bar made a good profit even though the beers were all being sold at discount prices so everyone a winner there and thanks to Mark, Jo and Andy for runing the bar as well.
A great night and looking forward to the rematch at the Wisemans pub.
